When I first came, just Summer and Reid were in the apartment. After IâÂÂd been there for a while, Zibby and Reagan came in unattended â Mom was still working at the office, and sent them to go back to the apartment alone. Now, the 11-year-old who is supposed to be babysitting is watching TV while the little girls do whatever they want with themselves. I walk over to the door, pick up the scooters they left in the open doorway. All the kidsâ clothes have holes in them, and they look like they havenâÂÂt had a shower in a week.
