As we meet the waiting room world. We find Sally. Her face tells us that she is going through emotional moments. Her perception of the world is colored by what ever event has recently transpired. We then meet Phil/Roger. Visually through filmmatic story telling we know that both of these individuals are empathetic in their colored view of the world at this moment. After they both wait for hours they are the only two left alone in the waiting area. Through their conversation we are uncertain of their specific relationship. Who is crazy or on medication? At the end resolve the audience is left to decide for themselves what is the relationship between theses two characters. How do we deal with loss? What is left of our humanity when loss strips away our emotional walls? By the end credits we know that both of the characters have been able to move on with their lives.
