http://www.gwm-tv.com - Brazilian finance minister, Guido Mantega, has told New York investors that the nation's economy is predicted to expand by 7.5 per cent this year.
He said the prediction had risen from seven per cent due to the nation's ability to generate stable growth without macroeconomic imbalances. He added that conditions are in place for 5.5 per cent to six per cent growth over the next four years regardless of how the US economy performs.
Mr Mantega also revealed that investment in Brazil was growing almost three times faster than the economy and that they are still increasing productivity.
