Today I want to feature one of my favorite celebrities driving social good: Angelina Jolie.
The actress became aware of worldwide humanitarian crises while filming Tomb Raider in Cambodia. She then approached the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the organization leading and co-ordinating international action to protect refugees.
Since 2001, Angelina Jolie has been on field missions around the world and met with refugees in more than 20 countries. Most recently, she visited earthquake victims in Haiti to help survivors.
