A pot-pourri drawn from Korngold's ballet score DER SCHNEEMANN [The Snowman) composed at the age of 11. This extended suite (recorded 1953) shows that Korngold WAS Korngold, even at the age of 11. The Hamburger Rundfunkorchester is conducted by Georg Singer, a gifted conductor who knew Korngold and undoubtedly studied this score with him.
