An inability to completely close the eye on the side of the paralysis

Lower eyelid extremely drooped allowing more of the eye surface to be exposed to dust, dirt and water.
BLURRED VISION
The 7th Cranial Nerve DOES NOT control eye focus, so if you experience blurred vision this could well be the result of a dry cornea (eye surface) and therefore action should be taken so as to not let the eye become damaged or scratched.
The easiest and most immediate way to counter this is to use a clean finger to gently move your upper eyelid down and over your eyeball a few times to lubricate the eye surface.
