A large but extremely delicate UFO hovers over a 10-year-old girl on a beach and plays her a startling message, which echoes a signal sent from Earth 15 years before. Young Cindy Harper was walking along the beach when she sighted the wondrous vehicle that then played a Morse code message to her. During their investigation, Ryan and Fitz discover that the Morse code message Cindy is able to duplicate for them is a faithful reproduction of a signal sent into outer space 15 years before by an astronomer named Lazlo.
