During the recent PubCon South at Austin 2011 conference held in Texas, PubCon video content producer Vanessa Zamora sat down for a video interview with Benny Lewis, language hacker and owner at Fluent in 3 Months. Lewis, who created his blog a year and a half ago as a way to document his travels, shared that he now has 80,000 unique visitors a month even though he has contributed minimal search engine optimization (SEO) efforts outside of checking Market Samurai every few months. Not a lot of people are blogging about the social aspect of learning, shared Lewis, who attributes his success on the blog to his social outreach efforts both online and off.
