The final open position guitar chords to complete the basic level 2 course. We look at the chords C Major and G Major. Interestingly the G major chord has a couple of variations, when we play the same chord but re-order the notes we play it's called a Voicing. So I will be showing you 3 different voicing's of a G Major chord. Why different voicing's? personal preference really, and sometimes certain styles favour one voicing over another. Give it a play and see how you feel. Both these chords require a bit of getting used to and that's why we left them until last. Remember to work through the chords as before and take your time. The C major chord in particular is a big frustration for most with the 3rd finger always muting some of the strings below it. adjust as I have shown you in previous lessons and you will get it!
