http://www.jefflitmanmusic.com Anna, studio version from Jeff Litman's 2009 release, Postscript.
Annaâs a blast
Sheâs got a nice smile, and she thinks Iâm a gas.
Iâve never met someone like her.
We walk the streets.
I open the door, and she shuffles her feet.
It feels like June in November.
But she stops me and says
âIâm so glad youâre my friend,
I need someone to confide in.â
Anna is perfect, but sheâs got a boyfriend.
She says heâs not worth it,
but itâs never gonna end.
Why do I always get hung up on someone like her.
When am I gonna learn?
Sometimes itâs rough.
Heâll push her aside when heâs had enough.
She keeps on saying he means no harm.
I nod and stare,
playing the part of somebody who cares.
I guess thatâs all part of my charm.
I want to tell her sheâs wrong,
heâs no good for her now.
She needs someone to rely on.
Anna is perfect, but sheâs got a boyfriend.
She says heâs not worth it,
but itâs never gonna end.
Why do I always get hung up on someone like her.
When am I gonna learn?
Stay ...
