Austin Space Day was a free family event marking completion of the space shuttle program with exhibits, movies and presentations. Some of the exhibitors included the Austin Free-Net, Austin Astronomical Society, Austin Planetarium, Meteorites, TAME, the McDonald Observatory, and the UT Austin Center for Space Research.
