In the past 25 years, members have raised millions of dollars to provide trips to the beach and fun for cancer patients and their families. Parents say the years of chemo and treatments that young patients endure strains the entire family. Lisa Miller has two children diagnosed with cancer. âIt takes their childhood away. So when you get the opportunity to come together as a family and just have fun, then thatâs like giving them a little piece of that back.â
