In 2010 the 6th World Choir Games took place in Shaoxing, China. Shaoxing, a prospering capital with a history that is thousands of years old, is situated close to Shanghai. The World Choir Games brought the world of choir music to China. Shaoxing showed the world a hospitable country with ancient traditions embedded in a modern life.
