She started her specialty gourmet coffee company to give back to these farmers, many who were survivors of the AIDS epidemic. She imports the best “responsibly grown” coffee beans, roasts them locally, and uses a portion of her profits to help people in need living in the regions were her coffee beans are grown. She invests in their education, creating sustainable micro-enterprises, and truly practices "fair trade."
