Pari Pantazopoulos defied the odds by advancing past 210 players from 19 different countries in Januaryâs open tryout to eventually sign with the team, play in the clubâs run to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final and against English giants Manchester United this past July. As the club readies for Decemberâs Open Tryout, the Greek-born defender talks about the experience of playing for the team he supported as a boy.
