There are a myriad of perspectives regarding residential schooling for First Nations people in Canada. We have attempted to present a collage of media that responds to this issue; criticisms involving historic decisions made by institutions, such as the Church and the Canadian government. The policies created by these institutions, which thought themselves superior, bound the Native body to their colonial counterpart to promote servitude, racialization, and dogma. Thus, residential schooling is not just a racist collaboration isolated in 500 years of colonialism, it directly impacts the lives of First Nations people today.
