While driving in the Salt Flats, Vert Wheeler is drawn by a freak storm into an inter-dimensional Battle Zone. When he saves an alien named Sage, his car is transformed into a high tech weapon and he becomes a defender of planet Earth. However, he soon learns that he needs a team.
