May 14, 2012 Dr. Pamela J. Boyers - "Realizing a Vision: Transforming the Education of Health Professionals" Dr. Pamela J. Boyers is the Senior Advisor to the Chancellor for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education and Executive Director of the Center for Clinical Simulation at The University of Toledo. In Addition, she holds an appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery. In her current position, Dr. Boyers is responsible for the strategic development of the new University of Toledo Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center. She has published and produced many articles and media productions both national and international. Dr. Boyers presentation shows how The University of Toledo is creating a new paradigm that will transform how health care professionals are educated.
