This Sunday we're seeing Paul take his first steps in his journey to Rome. We know that this journey is directly in the will and calling of God from scripture, but yet we see Paul encounter severe trouble at sea. Through the trial at sea, Paul is able to encourage the ship to trust in God. This is a powerful section of scripture that will help you "take heart" in the Lord's comfort and presence in the hour when it looks the darkest. Come Sunday having meditated on the scripture and prayed up, and we'll see the Lord work mightily in our hearts!
