Meeting October 22, 2012: Yoram Ettinger— US—Israel Mutually Beneficial Yoram Ettinger is a former Ambassador to Israel. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration, from the University of Texas at El Paso and a M.S. in International Management from UCLA. Ambassador Ettinger also was a CPA in California and is married to Ora with three daughters, Tal, Adi and Deganit and three grandchildren – Noga, Roni and Guy. Some of his career highlights include: *Consultant to Israel’s Cabinet Members, to Israeli legislators and to the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on US-Israel bilateral projects, US policy and Mideast politics. *Executive Director of "Second Thought – A U.S. Israel Initiative," dedicated to generate out-of-the-box thinking on US-Israel relations, Middle East politics, the Palestinian issue, Jewish-Arab demographics, Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. *Minister for Congressional Affairs (1989-1992) at Israel’s Embassy in Washington, DC, dealing with bilateral commercial, military and diplomatic ties, foreign aid, etc. *Director of the Government Press Office (1988-1989) in Jerusalem, coordinating contacts between government officials and overseas journalists.
