Jimmy Page, Don Felder, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour and Ritchie Blackmore are between Syd Barrett who his the 1st and the 7th guitarist here. Paraphrasing we can say "the 7th brings return" :) I thought to include an excerpt from Voodoo Child (Slight Return). Not the outro but a middle part. But I hadn't considered the Jimi guitar pieces strictly a solo, like the other ones here. I see him so different from the others… even in his "riff" parts as like as in his "solos". Also I could have included Mark Knopfler, Robert Fripp, Van Halen, Santana, … and I don't know how many other bluesmen. And I also missed a beautiful passage of the original Opel at 2:55 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ch3BfpZp8PI&t=2m50s) but I didn't like that joining with Stairway to Heaven. I would have liked the photos clipped better as well. / Sources: "Syd Barrett - Opel" / "Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven (2007 remaster)" / "Eagles - Hotel California (DCC remaster)" / "Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps (2009 remaster)" / "Roger Waters - 4:41 AM (Sexual Revolution)" / "Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb (MFSL Ultradisc)" / "Pink Floyd - Echoes ('Live at Pompeii' Laserdisc)" / "Pink Floyd - Dogs (1992 remaster)" / "Deep Purple - Highway Star (1997 remix)" / "Pink Floyd - Interstellar Overdrive (1995 remaster)" / Background videos by 27QRX from YouTube / "Lighticles" (by visualgarage from YouTube) / "The Fountain" (2006 movie) / "2001: A Space Odyssey" (DVD) / Photos by Alan Jaras from Flickr / Software used: VirtualDubMod, VirtualDJ
