New styles and designs come and go, but as for a trend that is truly shaping the future automotive landscape, it would have to be Collision Avoidance Technologies. Now were not talking about fully autonomous vehicles just yet, but many car companies already have systems in place that have a major impact in reducing accidents, injuries and fatalities. The National Transportation Safety Board recently announced its 2013 Most Wanted List and Collision Avoidance Technologies; made that list. They include, forward collision and lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, automatic breaking, and electronic stability control. All these systems give drivers the warnings they need when their reaction times are slow.
