Michael Bell, Toledo Mayor, gives his State of the City address. The Mayor stated regarding his address, “I am thankful for the opportunity to again present my State of the City from the stage provided by the Rotary Club of Toledo. This group of community leaders understands the value of service and the importance of accountability to our citizens. I am confident that by sharing this message with Rotarians it will be carried into the community and I will receive valuable feedback on the work of my administration.”
Mike Bell is entering the final year of his term as Mayor that has seen its share of challenges and victories. From balancing a $48 million deficit to enhancing city services and building community pride, Bell has worked to stabilize and improve the city despite his critics opposition to some of his tactics.
