Here in Alabama dozens of community based organizations are supporting the mission and creating initiatives to encourage people to become more educated on cardiovascular disease so they can take control of their heart health and prevent problems. Program faculty will discuss the importance of the Million Hearts Campaign, the local initiatives created from it, and the ways you can implement some of these activities into your own community.
