As part of National Boys & Girls Club Week, Misty Copeland, the first African-American soloist with the American Ballet Theatre in two decades and Boys & Girls Club alumnus, recently visited a Club to participate in activities with youth as well as share her personal Boys & Girls Club story. National Boys & Girls Club Week celebrates the invaluable service that Clubs bring to communities and provides opportunities to hear from kids and other stakeholders about the ways that Clubs transform young lives. National Boys & Girls Club Week is April 7-13, 2013, and a virtual Club tour is available online at www.greatfutures.org . Press materials available at www.internetvideorelease.com/bgcaweek .
