Nexus 5 16GB To Launch at $399, Nexus 4 with LTE also in Tow. While we still wait for the official unveiling of the next Nexus smartphone, a new report spills the beans about the pricing of the device ahead of the official launch. A report from Android Geek suggests that the alleged Nexus 5 might be priced at $399 for the 16GB model, while the 32GB model will come at $499. The report cites an anonymous source and claims that the reason behind this steep pricing of the rumoured Nexus 5 is that the search engine giant will also unveil an LTE-enabled Nexus 4 smartphone. The report further suggests that the innards of the yet to be announced Nexus 4 LTE model will be similar to the original Nexus 4 smartphone launched last year. The alleged Nexus 4 LTE model will come in two storage variants 16GB and 32GB, and will be price at $299 and $349 respectively, same pricing as its original variant. Google's much-anticipated next Nexus smartphone might be around the corner, but the device has already been revealed in multiple leaks. Earlier, a report suggested that the 16GB Nexus 5 will be priced at $299, while the 32GB Nexus 5 is expected to be priced at $399. Additionally the site claimed that the next Nexus smartphone would come in two different battery sizes for 16GB and 32GB storage models. As per the report, the 16GB is said to include a 2300mAh battery while the 32GB model would pack a 3000mAh battery. It is expected that the next Nexus smartphone would run Android 4.4 KitKat, and that the smartphone would be the platform lead device for the new platform, due to be launched at the same event. Earlier this week, the Nexus 5 was pictured in new leaked images that revealed rear and side panels.
