As you know, social security numbers can be used to open credit card accounts. Anyone with access to MVR's and Driver's Social Security Numbers can do this in your name. In New Jersey, it is now required that all driver's submit their social security number to the Division of Motor Vehicle Agency. But now we see that the numbers on file there are being anonymously accessed by millions of government personnel using systems like CJIS 2000 and the EPInet with little to no protection.
