Author Dr. Charlotte Laws is the author of the "Intolerant Jackass Act" (IJA), which she wrote in order to counter the small-minded and hate-filled initiative by Matt McLaughlin called the "Sodomite Suppression Act" (SSA). The SSA suggested that all gays in California should be killed. Laws' initiative (the IJA) provides penalties for those who bring forward bills like the SSA.
