PoK, Sept 29: The health care sector in Pakistan occupied Kashmir is in shambles. The callous attitude of the government has forced the healthcare employees to go on protest. The anger is palpable here. The crisis-hit healthcare sector in Pakistan occupied Kashmir could crumble any moment as the paramedical staff in the region are on protest against the local government for not releasing their health allowance package. The healthcare employees protest that workers in their sector are not provided any incentives or promotions, as opposed to employees in other sectors and regions of Pakistan. Furious over the government apathy, that is putting at risk the life of the people, paramedical staff members raised slogans and blocked roads. The employees have been demanding healthcare allowances, which Pakistan offers to other provinces. Urging the government to release their health allowances immediately, the employees threatened to stop emergency services in the hospitals if their demands were not met by the authorities.
