Gilgit Baltistan, Sep 06: Known as the last colony of Asia, Gilgit Baltistan has countless concerns that remain unattended. In this Pakistan Occupied Territory only 57 per cent girls attend primary school compared to 78 per cent of boys. Diamer district has only 12 private schools and interestingly there is no single private school for girls and the ratio of education is very poor.
