This stunning set of waterfalls is comprised of two distinct cascades. They lay inland in the island about 12 kilometres from shore. Reaching the waterfalls is simple; the first set of waterfalls is reached by a short walk along the path from the park’s entrance. Once at the first set of falls the second one is a mere 30 minutes’ walk uphill along the path. The name of the waterfalls translates as the “purple waterfalls” due to the colour of the rocks in the area. Visiting the waterfalls is a great relaxing experience where you can spend some time chilling by the falls, swimming or even enjoying a picnic. There is even an elephant camp nearby where you can organise a ride through the jungle.
