Julie is passionate about improving the education, training and employment prospects of all Queenslanders. In April 2012 she became the Director-General of the newly established Department of Education, Training and Employment following three years at the helm of the former Department of Education and Training.Julie is also driving reforms to ensure more Queenslanders hold a trade, training or tertiary qualification and is working towards improved workforce participation.
