Durga’s son Sailesh marries Neeru who is attacked by an evil spirit, siting which Durga is shocked. Later after 10 years, on Laxmi’s persuasion Naresh marries Uma but his daughter Mamta is not happy and denies accepting stepmother. Mamta finds solace, when she communicates to a suspicious lady Lata who in reality is a spirit. Laxmi is dumb struck to site Mamta near the graveyard; her father Naresh is also dejected to site her behavior. Lata urges Mamta against her stepmother.
