Known as "summer slide", many students experience learning loss during the summer break. Without regular reading and academic activities, children can lose valuable skills and knowledge, making it harder to catch up in the new school year. The RISE Program is specifically designed to counter this effect by providing equitable access to engaging and appropriate books - selected by the students themselves - ensuring all students have the opportunity to continue learning and growing throughout the summer.
Bookworm Central started from a simple yet profound wish: to enrich children’s lives by providing them access to quality books. Our founder, Radhika Bajaj, didn’t just stop at books. She envisioned a company that would give back to schools and the community, laying the foundation for a legacy that prioritizes the holistic development of young minds.
