On Point Book Review. I don't believe the similarities between Vampire Diaries, by LJ Smith, and the Twilight Saga, by Stepanie Meyers are coincidental, so I"m spitting Venom - again. Both stories are wriiten by women: both feature teenage vampires in high school falling in love; both introduce a werewolf element at a certain point. So which came first?
