Copelessness is the inability to cope in a hopeless situation. This is exactly where Tom Dexter finds himself in this drama about a man’s struggle to hold on in the face of change. Tom has just landed the sale of a lifetime: 7.3 million dollars. He is nonetheless stunned when his tactics cross the line one too many times.
