Mike Leach Texas Tech

Mike Leach, Texas Tech coach, was found using expletives for several minutes after a 20-13 victory over Baylor on November 28, 2009. Leach criticizes his team by saying they're "too good" to play Baylor. "There's a couple of you guys that your current living situation is going to change," Leach says. "We've got several of you, particularly on offense, all you do is pull mediocrity out of one another. Well, you're going to live somewhere else. Last time I checked, we're paying the (expletive) bills."

Fat Little Girlfriend

Mike Leach, Texas Tech coach, continued to be unapologetic about the comments he made after the Red Raiders’ 52-30 loss to Texas A&M. Mike Leach controversy began when he said his team chose to listen to “their fat little girlfriends” rather than being focused on the Aggies before the game. “As coaches, we failed to make our coaching points more compelling than their fat little girlfriends,” Leach said Monday about his team. “For one thing, their fat little girlfriends are telling them what they want to hear, which is ‘how great you are’ and ‘how easy this is going to be.’" Leach points the fingers to the “fat little girlfriends” as to why the Red Raiders lost the game. It was the most points scored by Texas A&M in the series history. Mike Leach suspension followed soon after the comments were made.
