“Stadtplandienst vs. Me” is a video based on a court trial about a case in which “Stadtplandienst", a german online map service accused the intervention artist Joachim Stein of a copyright violation. The Video was done in Second Life, using synthetic voices that read an English translation of the original German transcript of the trial // "Stadtplandienst vs. Me" zeigt eine Gerichtsverhandlung, die im April 2008 am Amtsgericht Charlottenburg stattfand. Sie wurde anhand der englischen Übersetzung eines Transscripts des Disputs zwischen Anwalt, Richter und Beklagtem in Second Life inszeniert. Die Protagonisten sprechen mit synthetischen Stimmen, wie sie zur Standardsoftware moderner Betriebssysteme gehören.
