Anime: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Song: See You Soon by Coldplay Okay, so this is my first attempt at a haruhi amv. i hope you like it. i also used the manga! yes those are not fan drawings (which i never use). anyway, although this is a pretty light hearted and comical anime, i went for a more serious look. basicly, the song talks from kyons perspective. it says "no dont lose your trust, no you lost your trust." i think that kinda matches haruhis past, she stopped trusting that the world would bring her happiness, hence why she dosent trust anyone until kyon comes along. then she finally begins to see the world with a little more color, and when the time comes, kyon manages to stop her from deystroying the world. so i hope you enjoy this! btw: NEW INTRO! finally! some things might change around, its still not comletely finished, but its good enough for now. I am very proud of this AMV and i think i have really started to find my own style. After my last amv, and after working out all the tricks of my program, i decided to use less complicated effects for two reasons: first, i felt that this anime is not one in which excessive effects are needed. second, after watching lots of amvs here on youtube, i have seen so many inexperienced artists going for as many effects as they can and not puting in feeling. editing is not about how tech-savvy you are or how fast you can play clips, its about feeling, including the right pause and sync to the music. i want to show what an amv is supposed to be, not how many effects i can use. enjoy the amv!

Its finally here!! sorry this was not out sooner i have been so busy i havent been able to finish it up but i have now. this is my first FX video, i tried some new things here, and a lot of them turned out great. The anime is princess mononoke by hayao miyazaki. its one of my favorite anime ever! its basicly a San and Ashitaka paring (as if there would be any other!). the song is Rebirthing now by skillet which i shortened although it dosent sound like it i did. why shorten it? because i have about two and a quarter hours of footage here which isnt enough for a four minute FX amv. anything else? dont think so, hurry up and watch it already! T_T
