Sometimes when trading Forex, an opportunity will show up that is just so obvious that you have no doubt that it will be a quick and profitable trade. This was one of those situations. We got into the position with 3 lots and made a profit of $495.14 in an hour. I spent the rest of the day doing some fall maintenance on my house and visited a local art gallery. I LOVE MY JOB!

I got a sold trade signal from one of our indicators and scaled in at 4 Lots. The trade quickly moved in my favor, I took 20 Pips for a profit of $800. I could have stayed in longer or taken some other opportunities that formed up after closing the trade, but I remembered not to try to over trade or force an opportunity that may not be there. Hindsight is 20/20 so it is easy to say, I could have and should have when price moves the way you think it might. It is a totally different story however if you are wrong! DON'T BE GREEDY. BE PATIENT! There will be more opportunities to make money tomorrow, but only if you don't blow up your account today. Besides $800 in a couple hours is nothing to sneeze at!

Today I made 22 Pips or $220 on a trade with the AUD/JPY Currency Pair. The trade did not take too long to realize a profit and we were able to get out before the rollover time where we would have had to pay an interest swap.

On this trade I made 18 Pips for a total $538.92. I jumped the gun a bit and got out earlier then I should have. It was a Friday, it was getting late, and I wanted to get out to dinner early. I was just not as focused as I should have been. Not long after getting out of my position price rallied in the direction of my trade 20 pips. While I did leave some potential profit on the table, I have found that it is better not to be greedy and take a smaller profit then a larger loss. I will be back at it next week so no worries there is plenty of money in the market for me to get another time. I will take $538.92 in profit every time over even a $1 loss.

I made a hedged trade today on the EUR/USD currency pair. I was able to get 60 Pips Long, which was a $1200 profit at 2 lots. The Short trade ended up -42 Pips for a $840 Loss. So the net result was a $360 Profit. The great thing about the Hedging Strategy from the Simple Forex Trading Course is that it really reduces risk. You also do not have to worry which way prices goes when you first enter a trade. This reduces stress and makes trading the market a so much easier!

Using one of the indicators that gives us exact short term entry points we took a trade on the EUR/USD today and booked a $330 profit. The trade was on 3 Lots and seemed to stall a bit so we exited before the trade could reverse against our position and possibly cause a loss. While this trade did not end up being a huge gainer, it is much better to take a small pip profit then a loss.
