MTV VIRUSMTV is a Cell that lies dormant inside every single one of us, patiently waiting for its moment. It is triggered by the sound of music, the bass line that awakens it and sets it free. The MTV Cell affects us by infecting our blood cells, encouraging them to follow its lead, jumping and jiving to the beat of the music. It makes us want to wiggle our toes, tap our feet, shake our booties and ultimately get up and dance. Rhythm is not natural, Rhythm is the MTV Virus. To demonstrate how the MTV Virus affects our body, we decided to examine blood cells under a microscope. We then introduced an MTV Cell to see the effects.
