This is of the astronomical clock in the Strausbourg Cathedral. It was absolutely amazing!!! I suggest Wiki-ing it to learn more about it ---definitely worth it.

So apparently, Freiburg is like "Hippie-Town" and people love to play random instruments on the sides of the streets -- for example: this awesome Didgeridoo! I've also seen accordions (not so interesting...), crazy looking guitars (like those of the Middle Ages), a bassoon, and panflutes/wind-pipes! Enjoy!

A view before the cow pasture...as you can tell I time things by major events - such as that of the cow pasture.

This statue in the video is called the "Black Jesus" -- it is over 400 years old! People used to come and actually worship this statue because of the realistic and detailed work put into the statue. All of the veins, wounds, skin, etc, appear to be that of a real corpse. Also, the hair is actual human hair. I thought it was pretty creepy!

This is the town where we ended our hike through Shauinsland. It was very beautiful, and this is the view of the village as you come out of the forest/trail.

This is the place where Mom and I stayed at before the program started for IES. It is in Gundelfingen, which is a little community north of the main city of Freiburg.
