A Couch's Spadefoot Toad caught during heavy rain in S.E. Arizona. He was crying and whining the whole time and acted like I was crushing him, when barely applying any pressure at all.

The Chihuahuan hook-nosed snake, like the Sonoran Coral Snake, emits 'cloacal pops' when threatened. 'cloacal popping' is fancypants for 'farting'.
