Germany's Robert Foerster of the Gerolsteiner team won Friday's first stage of the Deutschland Tour, a 183.7-kilometer ride that ended in the town of Saarbruecken. Foerster proved the quickest in a bunch sprint at the end of the stage, which was marred by light rain throughout, edging Lampre's Danilo Napolitano of Italy at the finish line.
