The story is about a group of people that are very interested in the spiritual world and they go to visit a psychic called Madam Arcati to communicate with spirits from the other side.

Androcles and his wife Megaera are running away from persecution and they are in the depths of the forest. Megaera is tired and exhausted and furious with her husband because she doesn't want be there...she rather be at home.
