This is my entry into the World Nomads documentary scholarship. This is my interpretation of the brief to create a 3 minute doc about a journey into an unknown culture. I chose the 2 months I spent as a volunteer ski instructor in Gulmarg, India.

In Gulmarg, India the NZ Ski Club of Kashmir ran a program to teach local kids skiing & snowboarding. 8 Instructors from all over the world volunteered to spend 2 months living, teaching and riding in the Indian Himalaya's. www.adventureproject.org

This is a video I put together about the time I was caught out overnight on Mt Ruapehu in the snow. This video was an entry into a video competition for the Nat Geo Adventure Channel, the video had to be on a journey that changed you.

This is a video intro I made to go on a DVD of videos I made about living and working in Canada over the 07/08 ski season. My Girlfriend Andie, twin brother Ed and his girlfriend Fiona all lived together in Banff and had an awesome snow season.
