Puró legendenglisdotworks level 2 Puró legend Puró is a sacred cave where none living being can enter. There lives a Majayura -a beautiful, elegant, well dressed young woman- who used to take walks around the area and appear to men, to whom she revealed the secrets of the region. In specifics times, at day or night, the Majayura goes out and appears to a man she likes. She disorients him and take him to Puró to reveal him the secrets she holds. Often times, he marvels so much of what he finds, that he stays there and never come back. People who live near the cave tell that in many occasions they had found men's dead bodies in the surroundings. When the individual gets to come back, brings with him the secrets that he got to know in that cave and he knows that it is totally forbidden for him to tell anybody what he saw and what he has done; if he disobeys, death comes as punishment.
