Dylan is doing his first outdoor Rally Trial and he is happy and into whatever----? Paying attention is not on his "to do" list---at least not at the start of this class. Oh well, things can only go up from here! You must admit that he is CUTE!

Unfortunately, a handler error (no pause after the Down/Walk Around) prevented a PERFECT SCORE for this pair. He still was able to qualify for his RN title though.

Pembroke Corgi "Max" TOTALLY ignored the 1st obstacle in this class while the handler didn't notice-- so went on to do a very good job of the rest of the course. Mistakes happen!!! What a shame.

Ritual of systematic dismantling of the lovely Compassion Mandala amid chanting and bell ringing. It took 5 days and 120 hours of work to create and only minutes to dismantle this sacred art. Glencairn Museum in Bryn Athyn, PA hosted these Monks.

After sweeping up the sand from the dismantled Compassion Mandala and putting it in a beautiful Urn, they perform the final Ritual before marching in a procession to a nearby spring to pour the sand into the spring which will then take it to the rivers and the ocean where Compassion will hopefully go around the whole earth influencing mankind for the better.

This is the last of the chimney swifts entering the chimney for the night, which is what they do every evening at sunset, and they are a thrill to watch as they circle for 20 or more minutes before actually doing the dive into the chimney

I turned the camera to get more of the birds as they were diving into the chimney and forgot that you can't "rotate" a video! So as you watch this please realize the left side should be the top---It does get a lot of the birds doing their "thing" so I left it in for that reason.

Hundreds of CHIMNEY SWIFTS gather every evening at sunset to enter a large chimney to sleep for the night.

A fast engine goes under a covered bridge while a slower engine goes the other way on a higher track through the bridge at the Morris Arboretum's elaborate Train Display in their gardens.

A Model Train pulling 8 cars goes over an elaborate handmade trestle that goes over a footpath in the display at Morris Arboretum. An amazing exhibit that has been ongoing for 10 summers now!

THIS IS THE 17TH (or BELL) LAP of an 18 lap race for these class 4 competitors and THEY ARE GETTING SERIOUS!!!

THIS IS IT---THE FINISH AT 34 MPH AFTER GOING 18 LAPS on a very hot July day! Our son, Allen, came in 15th place. (See if you can spot his yellow and green suit on the far side) It was very exciting to see this and a lot of fun for all!!

About the middle of this race-the 11th lap or so- shows the competition is very intense.

A 1927 Packard Convertible is featured in small town Bryn Athyn's annual 4th July parade. This antique car was formerly owned by the Pitcairn family who ordered it new. It has been beautifully restored and is now used for Bryn Athyn special events.

This wonderful group has been singing a cappella in Bryn Athyn for many years . Here they are performing a madrigal for the audience just before the July 4th Parade.

Lovely 8 yr, old Afghan Hound does a very creditable performance in Open Jumper Agility AKC Trial while having a lot of fun! (I can't understand why the sound cut off--my original HAS sound and I even tried the uplaod a 2nd time but same result!--Anybody out there know what happened?????)
