Danger Balls is a casual game intended for the XBox Live XNA Community platform. This is the first in a series of video blogs capturing this small project in the making.

Kraftbomb is Auckland's hottest and hippest craft show with hand made goodies from across the spectrum - toys, cupcakes, record bowls, necklaces, accessories, and lots more. Kraftbomb is a loose collective expressing themselves creatively through their art - head along and show your support on the last Sunday of every month!

DJCXL's radio show - "The Champ Is Here" - broadcasts every Tuesday night from 4pm to 6pm on Auckland's BaseFM (107.3). You can also watch the show live on Base's webcam at basefm.co.nz. At the end of last year, Base Station Manager Jazz showed us around the studio and Bling freestyled over an ad libbed CXL mix while we captured it all on film. We also ducked into "big brother" GeorgeFM for a quick look-see and Base Programme Director Dylan C explained the mix show format that separates Base from its commercial peers: DJs play two hours of anything they want - they don't have to play from a prescribed playlist. So if you're happy hearing the same 50 Cent song 20 times a day, listen to the commercial stations - if you want to be challenged and hear something new - Base is the place to be!

NZ's MC Bling aka Imagine This drops an amazing freestyle live in the BaseFM studio during DJCXL's radio show (Tuesdays 4 to 6pm GMT+12 on 107.3 or streamed live via webcam on www.basefm.co.nz). CXL provides the live mix and J.C. aka Wordperfect jumps in for a word or two. This clip has been edited down from 20+ minutes of freestyling (mostly by Bling with a few inserts from J.C.). Bling flowed the whole time (except where he handed the mic to J.C.) and for those who are wondering: the edits were only done to shorten the clip (so we could actually upload it!) and to cut out a few minor camera and sound issues. The final Shake of 08 was held at Zen in Auckland on November the 29th. Illegal Musik (Patriarch, Hardwork and DJCXL) held it down and J Williams, Prestige dance crew and D Love smashed it. If you missed it this year make sure you catch Shake in 09!
