Clyde E. Williams Jr., former senior advisor to President Bill Clinton and National Political Director at the DNC for President Obama, filed over 6,000 petition signatures with the NY Board of Elections today – over 5,000 more than required to compete for NY-13′s Congressional seat.

Today, I am proud to announce my candidacy for Congress to represent the best and most vibrant community New York has to offer – Uptown from East and Central Harlem to the Heights and parts of the Bronx.

Clyde Williams is exploring a run for U.S. Congress. He's worked for two presidents, Clinton and Obama. He's worked for non-profits and companies.
